  • 17 July 2026 End of term As we reach the end of term, we would like to thank all our families for your continued support and partnership throughout this busy and rewarding period. At Vauxhall Primary, we are proud of the progress our pupils have made across the curriculum, and we recognise the effort and enthusiasm shown in lessons, assemblies, and wider school life. We would also like to extend our thanks to staff for their dedication and care, and to our parents and carers for helping children to stay focused, punctual, and ready to learn. Finally, bye to our year 6 pupils as they prepare for the next exciting chapter, and we wish them every success as they move on to secondary school.

It’s a great chance for children to enjoy football in a friendly, positive way—cheering together, sharing team stories, and taking part in fun activities. We invite you to wear the colours of the team you support, so everyone can feel part of the day. Whether your child is a big football fan or just loves the excitement, we’re sure you’ll all have a wonderful time celebrating the spirit of the World Cup—teamwork, respect, and having fun together.

  • 11 May 2026 SATS Week 2026 We understand that tests can feel worrying for parents and children alike. Please be reassured that SATS at Vauxhall Primary are only one part of a much wider picture of progress. Our staff will focus on calm preparation, clear routines and encouragement, and we will continue to teach the full curriculum alongside assessment activities.
  • 7 May 2026 School Closed 7th May 2026 – Polling Station We will be closed on Thursday 7th May 2026, as the school premises will be used as a polling station. This is to support the democratic process in our local community. Please note that this closure applies to all pupils.
  • 19 March 2026 Red Nose Day 🎈 Red Nose Day Thursday 19th March! Children are invited to wear something red to school as we raise money for Comic Relief. Donations of £1 or more are welcome to help support this fantastic cause. Thank you for your support!
  • 18 March 2026 POP Up Bookshop Children will be able to browse and choose two free books to take home at next week's Pop-Up Book Shop (18-19th), part of the Children's Book Project.

  • 10 December 2025 Key stage 1 Christmas Performance We are delighted to invite parents and carers to our Key Stage 1 Christmas performance! Join us as our young performers take to the stage with festive songs and plenty of Christmas cheer. We can't wait to celebrate this special moment with you.

  • 2 December 2025 Winter Showcase We warmly invite you to an exciting Christmas showcase bringing together choirs from across the Federation, all under one roof and accompanied by steel pans and violins! Join us for this first-of-its-kind celebration—enjoy the music, mingle with our community, and treat yourself to a mince pie (or two!). This is a FREE ticketed event.
