Pupil voice is taken seriously at Vauxhall Primary and is making an impact.
RRSA reaccreditation report November 2024
Vauxhall Primary School has been re-accredited with the prestigious Gold Award by Unicef UK’s Rights Respecting School Programme.
UNICEF is the world’s leading organisation working for children and their rights. Every child, no matter who they are or where they live, has the right to grow up safe, happy, and healthy.
The Unicef UK Rights Respecting School Award (RRSA) is based on the principles of equality, dignity, respect, non-discrimination, and participation. The RRSA seeks to place the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child at the heart of a school’s ethos and culture, improving well-being and developing every child’s talents and abilities to their full potential.
At Vauxhall Primary School, we strive to empower all children to become active citizens and learners. We ensure that the best interests of the child are the top priority in all actions. The adults who work in our school are dedicated to embedding the values and principles of the Convention at the core of all policies and practices. Our entire school community is learning about the Convention, fostering a shared commitment to global justice and sustainable living.
